It’s now official: Nikola Zalewski will be a player for Inter. The Polish winger has been at Roma since his youth sector days and will be leaving the Capital for Milan permanently. Roma is set to cash in a sum close to 6 million after the expensive loan of 600,000 euros. The decisive move has been attributed to Chivu’s initiative, who wished him to play in the Club World Cup, before deciding on his redemption. Roma bids farewell to the class of 2002 after 7 years. The club statement reads:
“AS Roma announces that it has definitively sold Nicola Zalewski to Inter. In the winter market, the winger had transferred to Inter on loan until the end of the season, becoming part of the Black and Blue squad that made it to the Champions League final. Brought up in the yellow and red’s youth division, Zalewski has accumulated 123 appearances and 2 goals wearing the jersey of Roma. “Best of luck for the future, Nicola!”
