The Giallorossi have never won two consecutive games this season, and the trend continues since the end of the previous year with De Rossi.

Roma is searching for its second consecutive victory on Verona’s home turf. Juric is hunting for confirmations, primarily for the result but also for the gameplay and performance which, in truth, did not convince much against Torino. But even just the three points would be nothing short of fundamental for the rankings, considering the competitors for Europe that are racking up points. Today, even Bologna has overtaken them, having two more points with an equal number of matches played. Above all, it would be the first back-to-back win of the season: out of the mere 4 seasonal victories out of the 13 games played in all competitions, none of them have been consecutive. Following their three points win against Udinese, they managed a draw against Bilbao. They experienced a setback after their victory over Venezia when they went down against Elfsborg. Just three days after their 1-0 win over Dinamo, they suffered a defeat in Florence. However, this negative trend has been ongoing since last season, with De Rossi on the bench. Indeed, one must go back to April to find more than one consecutive victory: in that instance, there were three, the first on April 6th in the derby, and then the home and away legs against Milan in the Europa League (on the 11th and 18th). In between, there was also the match in Udine which was interrupted due to Ndicka’s illness and completed on April 25th (Roma-Bologna scored 1-3 on the 22nd). Following their comeback against the Friulians, they have only managed one victory in seven other games played this season, and that was in the penultimate game against Genoa.
